On September 17, 2026, the Office of the Education Council (OEC), under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prawit Erawan, assigned Dr. Kanchana Hongrat, Director of the National Qualifications Framework Bureau, to preside over the opening of the training program on the “National Credit Bank Platform for Basic and Vocational Education.”

The training was attended by Mr. Roongrueng Maksakool, Project Consultant for the National Credit Bank Platform from Simply Bright System Co., Ltd., together with representatives from Provincial Education Offices (PEOs) in the Central Region and other regions, covering a total of 29 provinces. The event was held at the Office of Computer Services, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen, Bangkok.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and prepare them for the practical use of the platform. It covered the management of provincial education and training program data, data integration and connectivity, and the monitoring of Credit Bank operations. Participants also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the platform and exchange feedback and insights.

This marks another important step in the development of Thailand’s National Credit Bank System, connecting learning data and enabling people to accumulate and transfer their knowledge, skills, and experience. The initiative supports the advancement of Big Data for lifelong learning, helping make lifelong learning opportunities more accessible and practical for people across Thailand.
